George School Varsity Math Team
Statistics
Spring season:
Purple Comet: One of our teams, the EniGmaS, ranked 1st in PA HS 1-1200, tied PA HS overall. Over 300 electoral votes (beating ALL teams from states), and ranked 18th in the United States.

In this competition, we beat Episcopal Academy 21-16/30, and we beat 4 teams from Haverford. Mathematics tells us that our other team, GS Exponentiati, beat at least 2 teams from Haverford. Shipley, Hill, and Westtown were not in the competition.

Overall Fall Record: 17-2.
This is the best record of any George School fall team, and it remained the best during the winter season. (Fall season second best: Our great friend, Boys Varsity Soccer, 11-5-1. Third best: Tied between JV Volleyball, 10-5, and Boys JV Cross Country, 1-0. Fifth best: Another one of our friends, Boys JV Soccer, 10-6. Sixth best: JV Field Hockey, 4-2-3. Seventh best: More friends, Boys Freshman Soccer, 6-4. Eighth best: Girls Varsity Tennis, 7-5.)

GSVMT vs Columbia Prep was also the largest win by multiplier for any GS team. (Boys Swimming vs Shipley was 104-27, +77, the largest by differential.)

Math Madness Record: 5-1.
National Ranking: 22 out of about 300 schools
This is above teams such as American Heritage Palm Beach, Georgetown Prep, University HS (this year's finalist), Millburn, Archbishop Mitty, San Mateo, Menlo, Middlesex County Academy, Diamond Bar, Archmere, Thomas Wootton, Proof School, San Dimas, Montgomery Blair (last year's semifinalist), Harvard-Westlake, Upper Dublin, Crespi Carmelite, The College Preparatory School, JR Masterman, Franklin Regional High School, Lower Moreland, Fox Chapel Area HS, Watchung Hills Regional HS, Union County Magnet HS, Central HS, Great Valley HS, Rockford Christian, Upper Darby, Gettysburg Area HS, and Lick-Wilmerding HS.

Scarsdale HS took out The Harker School (last year's runner up) 38-35, so GSVMT players are surely proud of our math madness performance this year. However, this is still weaker than the other two varsity math campaigns.
