According to the songwriter, Bill Becker, “The song is designed to be sung in celebration after beating Westtown in any athletic competition, and thereby demonstrates George School's superiority over our biggest rival. The song can be modified for any school that we beat, so long as the syllables and rhythmic timing remain the same (for example, the lyrics can read ‘Haaaaaaa, aaaaaa, aaaaa, aaveerford!
