Week Four of the Philly Varsity Math League:
As we enter Week 4 of the Philly Varsity Math League, the season is heating up, and the pressure is on for teams to carve their paths to success. Following some dramatic outcomes in Week 3, teams now face critical matchups that could define their seasons. With rivalries in full swing and playoff aspirations growing stronger, the stakes continue to rise for both League 1 and League 2 competitors.
In League 1, the Friends Central Phoenix (1-2) and the Episcopal Academy Churchmen (3-0) take center stage in the Match of the Week, while the battle in League 2Â between the Masterman Blue Dragons (1-2) and the Germantown Friends School Tigers (2-1) promises to shake up the standings as the top two preseason favorites face off in a match between the number one public school in PA and the number one private school in PA. Several other key matchups could prove pivotal as teams fight to stay in contention, and the George School Cougars are pulling double duty with a non-league match as well.
